TNA Nursing Continuing Professional Development Request Form

Tennessee Nurses Association (TNA) is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. As an approved provider unit (APU), TNA can only issue or "provide" contact hours for educational activities planned, implemented, and evaluated by us. As an APU, we cannot review educational activities developed by other entities and award contact hours. Nor can we award contact hours for educational activities provided by the agency if no member of our APU has participated on the planning committee. That is, we cannot “approve” an activity that has been submitted to us in which we have not been actively involved.
